Thanks for stopping by. I’m Rachael.
In the past I’ve had the opportunity to intern at a couple nonprofits in Bellingham. Working with small organizations gave me the chance to plan, execute, and assess campaigns. I learned some good SEO tricks and got a strong handle on Google Analytics. I also contributed to Klipsun Magazine both as a writer and as the Multi Media Editor.
I graduated in the Spring of 2020 from Western Washington University with a degree in Public Relations. My courses gave me a strong foundation in writing and emphasized research techniques. If you need to make a Qualtrics survey, I’m your girl.
If there’s one thing I love, it’s attention. I try to create things that demand it. When approaching a project, I look for all of the buzzwords-added value, aspiration, human connection. What I really try to find is a hero, whether that’s someone for the audience to relate to or an opportunity for them to become one themselves.
On a personal note, I spend a lot of time painting, mostly portraits, mostly with acrylics. I’ve been studying Japanese in hopes of making my brain wrinkly. I also enjoy distance running. I do not care about the health benefits, I am only interested in beating my neighbor’s times on Strava to assert my dominance next time I see them sorting their recycling. Email me if you would like to race.
